Nature and sublime landscapes
White snow-capped mountains, grey granite summits, ice-blue glaciers, green Alpine pastures…like an artist, Nature unfolds her incredible palette of colours across the canvas of the picturesque Val de Bagnes.
Peaks and summits
The Val de Bagnes is blessed with many peaks, the most renowned of which is most certainly the Grand-Combin which rises to 4,314 metres. These majestic mountains that dominate the landscape are the playground of mountaineers, experienced hikers, and rock-climbing enthusiasts.
Villages
Surrounded by Alpine peaks, the Val de Bagnes is scattered with numerous villages and hamlets whose charm, authenticity, and character has remained intact.
Bruson
The typical mountain village of Bruson combines tradition and the delights of winter sports in the idyllic setting of the Val de Bagnes. Perched on the hills facing Verbier, it owes its immense charm to its chalets built in wood and stone, and its traditional barns and granaries, testaments to a bygone era. The village enjoys exceptional snow conditions, and is the area’s second ski station.
Places to Visit
Set within the second largest Nature Reserve in Switzerland, the Val de Bagnes offers a multitude of Alpine treasures in a grandiose landscape …high altitude irrigation channels, characteristic mountain refuges, and the many marvels of nature.
Verbier
Verbier is not only the iconic, high-end ski resort of the 4 Valleys, but also a centre of recreational, cultural, and culinary excellence.
